Buying and selling a home can be a stressful experience, but combined with the early stages of a pandemic, well, there just aren't any words for that. My husband and I bought a home in March north of Seattle just as the state was closing down. That meant we had to list our house amidst a lot of uncertainty.

Having known both Jen and Jeanine prior to putting our Seattle house on the market, it was an easy decision to choose them to handle the transaction as they are both individuals we trust and admire. They gave us their full attention and worked tirelessly with us to get our home listed in record time. But more importantly, there was a tremendous amount of hand-holding and reassurance from both of them as we all entered a housing market never before experienced. As I prepared to buy my first house, the idea of working with a real estate agent was somewhat daunting. On the recommendation of a good friend, I happened upon Jen and Jeanine. I can’t imagine being happier with my experience. From start to finish, they were extremely helpful. They took the time to listen to me and learn what I was looking for in a home. They suggested great places to see, while also being available to discuss and show me places that I found on my own. Most importantly, in what became an increasingly competitive market, they didn’t push me to buy a house that I wasn’t excited about or completely comfortable buying. Jen and Jeanine were patient when I really needed it, and they were always available when I had a question. Additionally, they work with, and have great suggestions about, additional people you’ll need as you’re going through the process – including finance folks, inspectors, etc. Everyone they suggested provided full transparency on fees, costs, etc., and I was always impressed with their services, which made all my worries about the closing process less stressful. Jen and Jeanine did an amazing job helping us sell our home during the Washington state COVID-19 shutdown. I had recently retired and we wanted to move out of Seattle to Bellingham. As the pandemic was escalating we had decided to hold off on the move, ...until we found the perfect house in Bellingham. When our offer was accepted and we called on Jen and Jeanine to help us quickly get our Seattle house on the market before the state shutdown. Jen and Jeanine came over that night and we defined our home sale strategy and they worked with us on what furniture we should move out of the house to get it staged for showing. Our house went on the market a few days later, right when the shutdown was announced. Jen and Jeanine did an excellent job strategizing on how best to sell our home with the unique and very dynamic marketing rules; virtual tours only, then only one agent and one buyer, etc. Our friends thought we were crazy to try to sell during the shutdown, but Jen and Jeanine had a great understanding of the market and saw that home sales were still progressing and we should still be able to get a good price for our home. With their help and strategizing we got a great offer in two weeks and closed four weeks after offer acceptance. Jen and Jeanine did a great job coaching us through the inspection report and resulting negotiation process. The negotiations were low stress and went very smoothly.

Overall we couldn't be happier with how the whole sale went. Jen and Jeanine demonstrated an excellent understanding of the market and in developing a sales strategy during these unique times. Their confidence and expertise really smoothed the whole process and kept it relatively stress free. They kept us well informed of all the process steps and even coordinated allowing us to sign the final sale documents in our new home in Bellingham. Finally, they were also just great people to work with. We're really glad we've gotten to know them more. - RH
